1961 Chrysler 300 G Convertible

The gentleman's 375 hp cross-ram "letter car" speedster was the fastest full sized car made in America in 1961.
Last of the finned mopars this convertible has every Chrysler performance option - push button automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes, power windows, glove soft leather swivel seats and chromed cockpit. This was what many believe to be the last "true" Chrysler letter car. Although followed by several years of de-finned highly potent successors especially the 1962, the "300" beginning in 1962 had letter (high performance) and non-letter variants.
Note the gorgeous red/tan color combination, white sidewall tires, dual exhaust and spinner wheel covers and listen to the unique growl of the first-hemi engine powering a Chrysler letter car.
