1958 Ford Fairlane Convertible

The first "finless" year for Ford in the late 1950s, as it introduced the far tamer sunliner convertible in exciting colors like this one in aqua blue and white.
The 312 ci thunderbird engine nicely powered this automatic transmission roadster with its power top, power steering and power brakes, dual exhaust, true Kelsey wire wheels and wide white sidewall tires. Fins of sort would return in 1959 - 1961 and disappear again in 1962.
